He spread gospel of truth and knowledge of God to remove darkness of ignorance, enlightening, awakening and instilling spiritual values in all who came in his path. We Bhaktajan, are blessed with such a Sadguru Shree Kabir .... "Until recent past, all our Bhakta families lived close to each other and were able to maintain our rich cultural heritage through several centuries ... but now we live all across the globe." To stay connected, our Samaj has established this web site, with the help of modern technology and use of cyber space; we will be able to form a virtual global 'Bhakta Village.' This event was enjoyed by well over 150 of our members including our great Bhakta moms. The Samaj like to thank everyone for coming and enjoying this event. Champaben and Tarulataben awarded prize by Anjuben in the 3-legged race Our Next Events: SEA WORLD SAN ANTONIO Sea World San Antonio is having a hospitality day on Sunday May 18, 2008. Hotel/Motel owners and employee get free admission with check stub or employee issued ID. This is not a Bhakta Samaj event, but I figured it would be useful information for our members. Bhakta Samaj of San Antonio is organizing a bus trip for our members who are 50+ years old for a trip to Houston to visit NASA and the Hindu Mandirs in the Houston area. The trip will cost $40.00 per person. The trip is for Monday May 19, 2008. We plan to leave from Rodeway Inn on I 10 and WW White Road at 7:00 AM. Please let everyone know about this event. June Mahila Mandal Bhajans San Antonio Mahila Mandal will be having their bhajans on Saturday June 07,2008 at Subhasbhai Lavjibhai house. Bhajan will be from 04:00 pm to 06:00 pm. We look forward to seeing everyone at this event. The Following People needs to bring Parsad and Arti.... Ilaben,Pradipbhai Induben,Lallubhai Geetaben,Narubhai Patel Jasuben,Karsanbhai Jaysriben,Pramodbhai Kirtiben,Kalpeshbhai Manjuben,Mansukbhai Nainaben,Bharatbhai Nainaben,Natubhai Nishaben,Samirbhai Nanduben,Sombhai Patel General Meeting: Annual Bhakta Samaj of San Antonio meeting will be held on Sunday June 22, 2008 at 5:00 PM. The meeting will be held at the Pinn Road volleyball center. We invite every member of the Bhakta Samaj (including ladies) to attend this general meeting. We will have pizzas after the meeting.
Janmashtami Shree Ramkabir Bhakta Samaj of San Antonio invite our fellow Bhaktajans to celebrate Janmashtami on Aug. 24, 2008. The following events are scheduled: San Antonio Mahila Mandal will be holding bhajans from 3:00 PM to 6 PM. Mahila mandal would like to extend invitations to the surrounding mahila mandals to come particapted in this event. Evening dinner will be served from 6:00 PM to 8 PM. Men's will be holding Janmastami bhajans from 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Cuellar Community Center or the 36th. Street hall is our location for this event. Bhakta Samaj Picnic held on March 20, 2008 from 02:30 - 07:30 at Mission Park Pavillion #2. We had a great turnout and everyone hopefully enjoyed the food and friendship of our fellow bhaktajans.
